About Us


Courtney Venus

courtCourtney, Originally from Calgary, graduated with a Bachlors degree in Business Management and Marketing (BSBA and BSM). She spent 2 years working in Calgary as Regional Technical Manager for the Bank of Nova Scotia or Scotiabank. Courtney has spent alot of time doing volunteer work in Canada, from helping on a few political campains to volunteering with children and teens in special needs situations.

After a few years of owning and operating several small thriving business(s) she decided she wanted to move closer to family and experience a different culture, so moved to Playa del Carmen, Mexico approximately 4 years ago. Courtney is currently focusesing on her Advertising & Marketing company www.sunevmedia.com. As part owner in the Tote le Monde eco-friendly purses line www.totelemonde.com.mx. Courtney has been able to stretch her creative wings with her unique perspectives and organizational skills.

Her past experience in the recycling field in Canada, led Courtney to organizing the now 2nd Annual Think Green Expo.

 


Melissa Meno

Melissa, Originally from Chicago, graduated with a degree in Interior/Industrial Design from Northern Arizona University, a course of study that included two years in Newcastle Australia. She spent four years working for the U.S. Peace Corps in Bolivia where she assisted in the organization of several small communities, helping to develop a thriving business in beekeeping, honey procurement and merchandizing.
After traveling extensively in South America, Melissa found herself in Playa del Carmen where she is currently in partnership in a small Real Estate company www.rentalsplaya.com.
Melissa is also part owner in Tote Le Monde, Mexico an eco-friendly purse line www.totelemonde.com.mx and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Melissa’s quest for knowledge and new experiences is endless and she is committed to community development through her participation in workshops and events such as Think Green Eco Expo.
